The cost effective aspect is definitely something that appeals to most companies in these challenging economic times. The humble treasure hunt isvery good value for money, in particular when compared to some of the more expensive team building activities on offer.

The treasure hunt is an extremely accessible team building activity that every individual can participate and succeed in. The hunt activities promote collaboration, communication, decision-making and problem solving, all contained within a time-bound context. By taking part in such an activity it is easy to see how individuals naturally improve their skills in working as part of a team. If we consider further, the specific elements that make up such an event (such as the challenge itself, the time-bound context, the competitive element, the collaborative process etc) it is easy to see why treasure hunts have become a team building classic that is here to stay.
