The energy of the future
The arrangements for respecting the environment are numerous and we can start with
simple actions that if done repeatedly can actually help conserve and protect our precious land beginning with the energy savings. Fortunately many of these habits have become part of our routine as recycling, waste separation, using light bulbs "saving" Energy and the operation of many appliances in well-defined time slots.
Besides the photovoltaic one form of energy called "renewable" that is spreading like wildfire is the windpower. Wind power is the product of the conversion of kinetic energy of wind into other forms of energy and was the first form of energy produced by man after the fire. Obviously, for the society in which we live and we need energy that is converted is not as many years ago, pre-industrial and industrial era, the drive on site (typical of very windy areas like the Netherlands where windmills have become part of the landscape) but electricity. Reevaluated in recent years to be its inherent extreme "green" at the end of 2009 has come to cover the 1, 5% of world electricity needs, with a steady growth since that percentage has doubled between 2005 and 2008 . In May of 2009 were eight countries in the world those get hold of power plants for commercial purposes achieving excellent profits.
Wind energy is produced by the installation of wind farms that are directly related to power plants where possible but there are many cases where these types of systems are used to cover the energy needs of isolated places and not very accessible. For domestic consumption are very interesting plants that are called mini-eolic or micro-eolic.
These are plants that, as their name says, are used to cover a suitable low energy demand for homes or small businesses. Usually refers to facilities for mini-eolic that support a nominal power between 20 kW and 200 kW while micro-eolic plants less than 20kW.
For the law of the market, these small plants, as also happens for photovoltaic or solar thermal, have a higher cost than a large scale with a cost per kW of about 1500/1300 euro, prices will surely decline. Unlike photovoltaic But laws are not well defined in all countries because this type of equipment is much criticized for 'landscape impact that the turbines will inevitably cause. To their advantage, however, is surely the fact that plants are very technologically advanced that can exploit both the current weak suction is the sudden gusts of wind that occur in mountainous areas or along the coasts.
It is also to consider that micro-generators do not have a very different view of what may have street lighting or a cell phone repeater.
