The new Scorpio Xtreme!

I just happened to look at some new custom mods of the Scorpio and let me tell you

, it looks awesome. The Mighty Muscular Scorpio, as you know, is one of the most sturdy and tough cars on the Indian SUV scenario. I love my Scorpio because it can handle anything I throw at it. It thrives on any terrain and in any weather. I love my Scorpio, but when I saw the pictures of the customised Scorpios called "Scorpio Xtreme", I was spell bound. These mean machines have been customised by Jaggi from Mahindra & Mahindra, who has been specializing in custom mods for a long time.

These customized variants sport jaw-dropping new features. The key highlights of the "Scorpio Xtreme" concept other than the 4-door body shape and standard features include many new things.

Storage Options: A 2 tier roll cage storage rack with strapes which is very good for storing many things needed while going on a trip. The inclusion of Jerry cans in this Scorpio will aid in off-roading trips where fuel stations are hard to come by. There are also provisions for carrying bicycles courtesy the bicycle stand that come with the vehicles.

Useful Accessories:

Winch: It is a boon in those kind of situations where the vehicle gets stuck in mud or slush. The drivers can easily stabilize their vehicles without outside assistance.

Overhead frame with lamp pod: This feature is necessary on night trips and Jungle safaris where headlights are meaningless. Another good add-on in this vehicle is the provision for the overhead frame for awning scopes.

Entertainment and safety: A 2DIN DVD with touch screen and built-in GPS is included in the vehicle which can serve multiple purposes like watching videos, listening to music and navigation assistance. Also included is an active vehicle tracking system which makes it easy for you or any third party base station that you have set up, to track your vehicle in case something goes wrong. And finally a refrigerator is provided with the vehicle which makes the storage of food very easy. Thus you can undertake a whole road-trip without any apprehension about safety and food.

Well, the above mentioned features constitute some pretty powerful specs for a vehicle. With all these excellent features, off-roading will definitely be a pleasure.
