Things To Do When Going Camping

Camping is a hobby for both men, women, and kids

. When you go camping you want to make sure you have everything that you need to make sure you have a fun and safe camping trip. People go camping to camp out with their friends and families, to get out of the house and in to the woods or go fishing. Or to experience the outdoors to learn how to survive if you can lost. Lots of people do this for the fun and to get away from everything or just to relax.

It is important that you bring water, flashlights, oil lamps, food, tents, sleeping bags, fishing gear, clothes, first aid kit, and whatever else you need. Do not plan this at the last minute, it is not a good idea because you will forget things that you need or have to have. You always want to plan a camping trip a week or two ahead of time so you know you have everything. It is also good to make sure you have a place near or by the water so you can put out your fire or if you need water for something. You also want to make sure your area is cleaned before you set up camp.

Make sure everything is cleared out like debris, such as trash, glass, weeds, leave, branches, etc. You never want to camp under a tree, it is not safe. Because of the branches that can be hanging down. It can get hot and cause a fire. You want to find a clear spot so this will not happen. You also want to make sure that your tents or sleeping bags are not near your fire, that is also not safe. You want to make sure that you will not cause a fire. A way to do this is to make a small pit for your fire and put rocks around it, so the fire will not get out. Also do not throw anything in your fire cause it can pop out fire and land on something.

You want to make sure that everyone is safe and you do not damage the area that you are in. When you leave the camping area your are in your want to make sure that you clean it up and put out your fire. Make sure that the fire spot is not smoking, it has to be completely cold before you leave. Also make sure you take everything that is your and throw all your trash away.
