Things You May Need When Going Home With A New Baby
When your in the hospital with your first born baby the thought of going home with a new baby can be scary
. You worry that you may not know what to do for your new baby. You worry that you may not know what his or her cries are for. You worry needlessly over every little thing. The fact is that there is nothing to worry over because taking your baby home is a wonderful and joyous occasion.
Before your baby arrives there are several things that must be done. The nursery is the first thing you should start on as soon as possible. You do not want to wait to long to start on the nursery because then things can get stressful. You should stock up on all the necessities that your baby will need like wipes, diapers, bottles, lotions, rash creams, and all the other items that new babies need.
Your new baby is going to need many things when they come home so it is important that you have these things ready before your arrival. It would be very inconvenient to have to leave to go buy the things your baby needs as soon as you get home with the baby. You will also have to be prepared to have many visitors wanting to see and hold the baby. It may be wise to ask your friends and family to come by at different times so that your baby and yourself do not get too overwhelmed.
When it gets close to the due date you should have a bag packed with your things and the things you need for your return trip. You should pack your own things but you also have to be sure to pack for the baby as well. You should also buy a car seat before the baby arrives because you will need it for the trip home.
You will also need a going home outfit for the baby. Be sure to bring a couple of outfits just in case one does not fit. It is hard to determine how big or little your baby will be.
If you plan to use a pacifier you will want to bring one of them with you for the trip home as well as a few diapers and wipes. It is a good idea to pack a diaper bag full of things you may need for the trip home.
