Three Great New Binding Machines for Fall

With the changing of another season comes a whole new selection of binding machines. It seems that every fall there are a bunch of great new bookbinding devices that are put out on the market and this year is definitely no exception. Some of the biggest names in the document finishing industry have all put out new products including such bigwigs are DFG, James Burn, and Tamerica. Here are three of the machines that are now available and are ready for your binding needs.

The Tamerica Eco-34. The Eco-34 is a twin-loop wire binding machine that's well-constructed and should be able to provide you with years of use. It has an excellent 15-page punching capacity and is compatible with 3:1 pitch wire spines that are up to 9/16" wide. You'll be able to use this device to bind documents containing up to 120 sheets and since it has disengageable dies and an open throat, they can be just about any size you want. Also, the Eco-24 isn't too large so it's ideal for smaller work areas.

The DFG TitanCoil Eagle. The DFG TitanCoil Eagle is a coil binding machine that happens to be very heavy-duty. This device has an electric coil inserter that really helps speed up the entire process. You can also insert the coils manually and end up with documents that are over 400 pages long. The TitanCoil Eagle can punch as many as 22 pieces of paper at a time and it features all-metal parts for as much durability as possible. Like the Eco-34, it has disengageable dies so you'll be able to work with varying sizes of paper without any problems.

The James Burn EC-14. While the EC-14 isn't a full-fledged wire binding machine (it lacks a punching mechanism) it still bears mentioning because this is a really great product. This machine can work with twin-loop wire spines that are up to 1.25" thick and 14" long, so it's a great choice for thick documents that are either letter- or legal-sized. You need to use two hands to operate the EC-14 so it's really safe to use. It's also durable because it's made out of metal. Just keep in mind that you'll need to have a paper punch on hand to prepare your documents for binding.

DFG, James Burn, and Tamerica are known for making high-quality binding equipment and the machines mentioned in this article are just a few of the ones that are now on the market. All of these machines are first-rate and durable so you'll be able to use them frequently without any trouble. You'll find that you're able to get your documents ready for binding (and distribution) in a minimal amount of time and that you'll end up with professional-looking books time and time again. So if you're in need of a new binding machine as we head deeper into fall and finally into winter, make sure you give these devices some consideration. Bookbinding equipment doesn't get much better than this.
