Tips For Shopaholics Who Can't Help Buying Clothes Every Now And Then
If you notice people who are labeled shopaholics
, you will find that they essentially love to shop for clothes everyday. Unlike most people who buy clothes twice or thrice in a year, these people buy clothes twice or thrice every week out of habit.
We often look for the best time to buy clothing and plan to make our purchases accordingly. We buy clothes only on need basis and replace the torn and worn out cloths that we have.
When to buy is something that we need to think of. You may first want to go through your wardrobe and decide that needs replacement and how much of your clothes are in good condition.
Who ever said that your old clothes are no good to be worn and they need to be replaced with new clothes? Just because our cloths are old does not mean they cannot be worn. They may be as good as new and can be used unless they are torn , faded or worn out.
Why not stop for a moment and really think whether you want or you need new clothes. There is a huge difference between needing clothes and wanting clothes. You need clothes only when you do not have sufficient pairs that can be worn and last you for a week or so. But wanting cloths is nothing to do with need.
It is a good habit to buy clothes in small quantities wherever an occasion demands that you go dressed formally. On certain occasions like job interview or office parties you will have to be dressed formally and look smart. Go and buy one or two good pairs on such occasions and wear it to the function.
There is a huge difference need for clothes and want for cloths. Want for clothes can be unlimited wants and you may want to indulge in shopping every week, whereas your need for clothes is very limited and you might go out to buy may be once or twice a year only.
By maintaining and following washing instructions properly you can get your cloths to last over a few years and save on the time, money and effort of having to go shopping for new cloths.
