In order to keep young and live a long life, we all seek many ways to prevent getting older, and being healthy. We can eat some health products and nourishments. Or we can use skin care to protect our face and hands to keep a younger appearance. But, for household appliances, shouldn't we do something to maintain them and prolong their life span? Fridge Cleaning Notes
1. Do not use acid or alkali solution. Although acid and alkaline solutions have powerful cleaning capability, they are too corrosive. It is susceptible to corrode the fridge's metal box and other components.
2. Do not use organic solvents. Organic solvents will make the paint layer crack and peel off from the fridge, thus speeding up the corrosion of the refrigerator.
3. Do not use hot water. Hot water will make the plastic parts, resin parts, and other accessories' deformation fail.
4. Do not rinse. Water will cause leakage, electric shock, arcing, breakdown, and short circuit.
5. Do not strike dust with sharp tools. Sharp scratches the paint layer or electrical insulation layer which will result in electrical accident.
How to prolong TV's life span?
1. Prevent premature aging CRT Dim the luminance of screen. Do not switch frequently. Keep the TV work under a stable power supply.
2. Pay attention TV's ventilation Most of the parts inside TV work to be fever. If radiation is ineffective, the heat can not be distributed out in time. TV will be damaged by the increasing the temperature.
3. Opening TV frequently, especially in rainy season. It will cause damage easily if TV is left unused for a long time.
Air Condition's maintenance
1. Clean it frequently. Filters, evaporator, condenser and other components are easily integrated by dust, which affects cooling efficiency. Especially the indoor part of the filter should be cleaned frequently to avoid clogging the mesh.
2. Add lubrication oil every 2 or 3 months if air condition works usually throughout one year.
3. Clean it up, put a protective cover on it if you won't use the air condition for a long time.
4. Turn it off if abnormal machine operation occurs to avoid serious damage.
How to prolong fluorescent light's life span?
1. According to scientific test, the impact on every switch of fluorescent light is equal to light it for 3-6 hours. So you should reduce the time of light switch.
2. Change a new drive when the fluorescent light flashing and flickering constantly.
3. Remove the lamp and then fitted with 180 degree rotation after long time's using.
Those household appliance maintenance tips above are just some simple methods, but I'm sure they will help you maintain your appliances and prolong their life span. However, for the fluorescent light's maintenance, I'd rather change the light to a LED light whose average life span is longer than any other lights.
