Norwich is a number of parks, gardens, museums, art galleries and many other innovative places of interest. To add on this the climate here remains pleasant all round the year which makes the visit to the city a memorable experience.
1. Norwich Cathedral: This 900 year old Norman cathedral church is known for its Christmas celebration and don't miss the grinning skeleton on the south aisle wall.
2. Sainsbury Center for Visual Arts: This lovely building is situated on the campus of University of East Angila and comprises of tiles, ceramics and other art works that weave a magnificent blanket of visual illusion and imagination.
3. Castle Mall: This place is for the shopaholics. This mall is one of the major regional centers for trade and shopping in Britain. There are stores of almost all the major brands here. You will find good discounts and bargains on the locally made stuff that is sold here on the streets.
4. Hotel Oasis: This is an Indian restaurant that is located on the Queens Road. The atmosphere is fun and lively with people here are warm and friendly. The restaurant has been decorated in a typical fashion that makes it different from the other stereotypical restaurants.
5. Magdalene Street: You search for a decent Indian and Asian food ends here. The road has a plethora of restaurants that serve you Indian cuisines like Mughlai, North Indian, Bengali, South Indian and much more. Do try out the Tandoori Chicken from Ali Tandoori which is one of my favourites.
6. Blue badge Guided Walking Tour: This beautiful place is a walking place that takes almost 90 minutes to cover it. You can have a better glimpse into the history and heritage of the city by means of the commentary.
7. Norwich Castle museum and Art Gallery:This is city's one of the major landmarks that was built about 1000 years ago. This museum cum art gallery has some of the outstanding collections of the fine art, archaeology and natural history. The monument is visited by tourists and locals across all the age groups. There are computer presentations and a sound and light system that bring life to the objects and other artifacts that are kept here.
