Top Reasons Why You Should Watch Fringe

Fringe is one of the best TV shows out there and you have probably already heard of it or watched it

. If you haven't, below you will find a list with the top 10 reasons why you should. So without further introduction, here are the reasons:

Reason One: Science

A completely different field of science, distinguishing from science, as we know it, establishes in the TV series; it is referred to as fringe science, which gives the viewer a steady doze of thrilling sci-fi. Also, several more genres interweave in the show investigating mysterious cases and sprinkling of horror (of course, not the scariest type of horror, like Saw or Halloween) are mixed with complicated family relationships and drama. What is more important, all the strange cases the Fringe team investigates have scientific nature and are part of something bigger, called the pattern. The screenwriters successfully mix fundamental mythology with present day science.

Reason Two: Anna Torv as Olivia Dunham

Anna Torv is not only a beautiful woman but also a very talented actress. She plays the chief role in the show that of Olivia Dunham, special agent of FBI, who is directly connected to the mysterious events. She deals excellently in playing a very strong female agent who acts professionally in the scariest and creepiest situations. In the same time her charter, Olivia, has to cooperate with the freakiest partners in her search for answers.

Reason Three: Family Drama

The Fringe team consist mainly of Olivia Dunham, Peter Bishop, Walter Bishop and Astrid, Walter's lab assistant and also a FBI consultant. The chemistry amongst these personalities is very supportive and palpable; the viewer can easily assess that the characters are not only casual co-workers, they are something more. The characters need each other. The accent is put on Bishops family and the role of Olivia in it. Peter and Olivia play more or less like parents of the very intelligent but unstable scientist Walter Bishop. The character of Astrid is very close to that of a cousin passing by who wants to help Walter. Furthermore, the sense for family atmosphere is strengthened by the presence of the lab cow of Walter Gene, which acts as home pet.

Reason Four: John Noble as Walter Bishop

Also famous for his role as Denethor, the ruler of Gondor, in Lord of the Rings, John Noble reincarnates as the freaky drugged out, childish, unstable, but extraordinary intelligent scientist Walter Bishop. No matter what the Fringe case is a man with his face in stomach, a baby which ages 70 years for one day or a man stuck in a wall, Walter is on the job. The way John Noble combines acting of both parent and child, both guilty party and victim, is just amazing!

Reason Five: Alternative Universes

Since Lost have ended, there was no competitive story plot on the big screen. Not until Fringe was launched. The main story is strongly engaging and attractive. It involves the existence of two parallel worlds, which are about to crash into each other so only one will survive. Really, it is worth every minute.
