Top Scientists Embraced Islam (4) Dr Alison and the Medical Inimitability in Quran-C

Part three

This is the fourth Scientist in the series of Top Christian Scientists who embraced Islam.

More than 1400 years ago, the Quran revealed some 1000 scientific facts which were discovered only in the last 100 years.

These scientific facts which are mentioned in the Quran led many of the Top Scientists to embrace Islam and to convert willingly from Christianity to Islam.

Although People should be free to believe in whatever religion they wish: however, the reasonable questions are

Why Christian priests and scientists do convert to Islam, What led them to embrace Islam?

Is there a good reason for priests and scientists to convert from Christianity to Islam?

What would be that reason?

In this article, Dr Alison may give us some clues.

Prof. Dr Alison continues his story of conversion to Islam saying (about the Quranic verse 39:42):

This fact has been proved through para-psychological studies which are related to three main domains:

1. Out of Body Experience

Some persons are reported to have this experience in which they found their bodies in some other place or lying on a bed. Studies have revealed that about 10 to 20 per cent of the cases subjected to study had this experience.

2. Dreams

When some persons dream, they know that they are dreaming. Experiments have proved that sleep is the departure of the soul from the body.

3. Coma resembling death

Suffering from various ailments, some persons enter a coma. The attending physicians declare them to be clinically dead. But due to some medical aids that may regain consciousness. These persons narrate strange events they saw during this state. Such experiences are worthy of study scientifically and in the light of the Quran.

Prof Alison added that when he attended the conference and learned various facts in the Quran and Sunnah related to the creations which have been confirmed by science, he realized that Quran could in no way be a human creation. What was revealed to the Holy Prophet 1,400 years ago proves that he is the Prophet of Allah. Therefore, the professor said, he uttered the two testimonies and with the name Abdullah Alison.

He spoke on the necessity of using scientific facts as a means of "Da-a-wah" in the West, adding that it was the most appropriate way.

[N.B. "Da-a-wah" = call to Islam = invite people to Islam]

The Western way of pursuing knowledge, he says, creates an impression that man is a limited quantity of cells and the universe a bunch of visible and audible objects.

Whenever man discovers something, he realizes he is more and more in the field of psychology and related subjects, this fact becomes clearer.

Professor Abdullah Alison divulged that he may set up an Islamic Psychological Studies Institute in London in the light of Quran and Sunnah and the studies related to Medical Inimitability in the Quran, with a view to showing the scientific facts, contained in the Quran, to the West.
