I bought one of these Torin (model T84025) floor jacks in my garage. I also have a smaller Craftsman floor jack from 80 years of age. This connection is one part of aluminum and steel, and some seem pretty good by all. It is relatively light for its size and easy handling. I upload a photo of me at Amazon (She's tucked away next to my toolbox).

I'd say it's worth the money, especially if you find it on sale, or use a coupon or something (I think Amazon has a credit card offer that will steal some $ $ i). I ended up getting mine for around $ 135 or so.

Anyway, nice floor jack. I do not want to use too much, but I like it. This is low enough for most cars. I had a Ferrari 360, which was quite low. I certainly can not remember when it went under the car is good or not, but I think it done. Nifty little trick I used was a short piece of 2x10 or 2x12 wood and then drive on tires - which often adds just enough room to get Jack into the sub-frame, if you are very low and / or reduced car.

I would jack about 4.5 to 5 stars. It is perhaps not as beautiful as you jack $ 400 or $ 500 dollars to spend, but for the price, it's damn good floor jack have. Good value for money. It is rated up to 5000 pounds, so it has no problem lifting the front of my SUV for oil changes, etc.

Great jack

I had a small two ton jack. It was just not adequate to lift my GMC Suburban. I was looking for an Aluminum racing style jack that could fit under my lowered cars, but still stout enough to lift my SUV. This Torin jack fit the bill. With the long lever arm, it provided the leverage necessary to lift my heavy full size SUV. It also fit under my lowered sports car. The price is a bit more than most jacks, but still less than the heavy duty Torin aluminum race jack that I was considering. I highly recomment this tool.
