Unlike townhouses in the past, townhouses of today have become more luxurious because of its amenities as well as the wide land it sits on. These types of townhouses are mostly known as townhouse complexes in which townhouses are housed in an exclusive complex complete with high security and resort facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, and recreational parks. This is the reason why townhouses have become one of the most popular type of residential philippines properties. This was until condominiums were introduced.

Disadvantages

The disadvantage of townhouses is that these types are mostly only for the wealthy. According to many people, aside from mansions, townhouses are considered as the next most expensive residential philippines properties for sale. The reason why condominiums became popular is because condominiums can provide the same type of luxury, particularly with its amenities, for almost half the cost of buying a townhouse.
