The T49 T-series product line is one of the more popular of the True refrigerator lineup. These large 'bottom mount' compressor - for ease of service - fridges have an impressive 49 cubic feet storage capacity. With a strong stainless steel finish on the front, these units are highly resistant to dings or scratches. The six sturdy PVC coated shelves in the basic configuration of this appliance can safely hold 250 pounds of supplies each.

The T-49 refrigerators have the ability to hold the temperature to only a couple of degrees above freezing, ensuring maximum effectiveness for food preservation. Lesser refrigerators may hold their internal temperature at several degrees from the freezing point.

Another great feature of the T49's is the self-closing doors with recessed handles. Their generous insulation, auto-closing doors, and high powered refrigeration compressor ensures that the minimal time is required to re-chill the unit in high activity environments where it is frequently opened.

As is important for a large refrigerator like this, they are engineered to meet all government energy efficiency guidelines in order to keep operating cost under control.

Trues T49 model line also comes in other configurations. As well as the default 'reach in' two door model, there is a 'pass through' design available - the T-49PT - which has two doors on both sides of the refrigerator. This allows the appliance to be placed in the middle of busy commercial kitchen and the contents be easily accessed from either side. Versatility such as this allows for increased efficiency of both floor space use and work flow.

Also available, in both the reach-in and pass-through form factor, are four door equivalents of the same True refrigerator. These are codes as the T49-4 and the T49-4PT respectively.

Above and beyond this, the entire model line is available in a freezer format, known as the T-49F lineup. These True freezers are very similar to the True refrigerators previously discussed, but allow for sub-zero storage of frozen goods.

Above and beyond the basic unit described, True Manufacturing has a large variety of other commercial refrigerator and commercial freezer options. The T-23 s a smaller one door version of the above appliances, and the T-72 is the larger three door equivalent. Also available are a full range of display fridges, display freezers and curved glass display cases.
