Try This Financial Personality Test- Are You A Spender Or A Saver?
From the existing economic crisis, we have learned one thing-savers are forever happy and more secure in their lives
. While being a spender can be really fun, it sets off your chance in having an enjoyable life. And it is necessary for you to be realistic in life, be aware if you spend too much or not. Answer all the questions below with honesty and see if you are spender or a saver.
1) Do you follow the attitude of "live for today"? If you answer it with a big YES, you are definitely a spender. If you have a credit card, you will use it more often. Having an attitude with borrowing money and promising to pay it back tomorrow is not good, because you tend to borrow money to pay other debts. These are the people who refinance their homes and others who are having problems in paying their credits.
2)Do you buy things that you cannot afford, and convincing yourself that you deserve this? For a second time, this is a spender mentality. As a human being, you are entitled for the nice things around you. But of course, you need to work hard to get those things.
Nevertheless, right timing should be considered in terms of big purchases. Paying your debts on time and having bonuses plus honorarium is the best reward you can give yourself. Do not spend all your money; allotting a small portion of your money, maybe 10%, can be enough to reward yourself.
3)Are all the foods in the refrigerator often go bad? Or are you having more than 10 unused items in your wardrobe for more than a week? These are the common problems with regards to spending. Most spenders are keeping on buying things without knowing the uses of those. This is called "impulse purchases".
This means that the food wasted in your refrigerator are not properly calculated. It is also the consequences for having lots of item inside your home, such as clothes, that you don't appreciate. Now, look at your closet, get all the unused clothes, and calculate all the expenses you spent just to buy those clothing items. Then ask yourself-those unused clothes or your money?
