When he made it clear that he had given up two and a half years into this journey it felt like I was sinking in a deep, cold and barren ocean and someone had just dropped an anchor on top of me. Most people, men especially, have no clue what it is like to constantly try to conceive and think of nothing else besides conceiving, and then hear people get pregnant without even trying. I never could stand having to smile and be happy for them when deep inside I was just furious! After all, how is it fair that I give EVERYTHING to conceive a child, and here they come along and get pregnant without even lifting a finger!
