Turning The Page On A New Relationship

If you have found that your old relationships have left you jaded and suspicious

of everyone you meet, then it's time to turn the page and start a new way of looking at people. Especially if you have just started a new relationship!

Your new partner does not deserve to be labeled as anything but what they are. So if you automatically label the opposite sex as cheaters, and you give your partner that label without justification, you are only going to hurt your new relationship, and possibly cause it to be over before it starts.

Picture a new relationship as a clean slate that hasn't been written on or tampered with at all. It's a nice shiny and white board just waiting for you to fill it in with great experiences. It doesn't have judgments or accusations on it. It can't! It's a new slate that hasn't even been written on yet!

Get into the habit of letting the past be the past, and move into the present where you belong. The past has been about learning and growing as a person. The present is about applying what you have learned to your life to make it the best life possible. This applies to relationships as well.

You may have been hurt by someone, but you also learned a positive lesson from that experience as well. Maybe it was that you are stronger than you thought, or maybe it was that you can do things without others help, or maybe you learned how to stand up for yourself. Whatever it was, the experience was there to teach you those things, not to be a bother in your life every day afterwards.

Let it go. Be present in your new relationship and get excited for the new things coming your way. If you don't do that, and you keep those labels on your new relationship, you will manifest bad things in your relationship and cause fights and stress that doesn't need to be there.

On the other hand, if you take any preconceived label off of your new partner and just let them be, then your new relationship will take its own course. And with your lessons learned you will be able to steer it down a happier and more fulfilling path.
