Ever since the release of new PlayStation phone from the house of Sony Ericsson has been announced, mobile lovers have eagerly started waiting for the device to reach them.

Named as Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, the device would be a real treat for users who love playing games on the gaming consoles. Incorporating a sleek slide-out gaming pad, the smartphone offers a fine 4 inches wide TFT multi touch screen along with gaming control keys on the side slide which makes it all the more attractive and appealing. The front side of the handset contains four keys to control the Back, Home, Menu and Search functions.

This gaming smartphone runs on latest Android 2.3 OS and is powered by a 1 GHz processor chip. To present the users with an outstanding picture quality, the device comes with a 5 mega pixel camera with a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. There are also many other useful features included in the Play such as Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth to provide the best web browsing experience.

Play is the first mobile phone that would host the Play station suite and would offer HD games at 60Fps. During the launch of the phone, Sony Ericsson announced that there will be minimum 50 games available within the device. These 50 games would include FIFA 10, The Sims 3, Splinter Cell, Assassins Creed and Guitar Hero.

The smartphone is already available on pre order in the UK market and can be obtained as a part of Xperia play contracts with various free gifts.

Another coming soon pone that has caught the attention of mobile lovers is the LG Optimus 3D. It is world's first 3D phone and comes with a full 3D display screen. These hi-tech mobile phones can also record 3D videos and comes equipped with dual camera lenses that are placed at the rear side of the handset. Spaced at a distance of 24mm, each lens captures the image for one eye which gives the 3D perspective. These images and videos are captured in a high resolution of 1280 x 720 per image.

To give the 3D effect to the images, a parallax barrier screen is used. The phone comes with a display screen which is 4.3 inches wide with 480 x 800 picture resolution and 16 million colours. If required, 2D footages can also be recorded with the device, at 1080 P full high definition resolution.
