UK Driving Instructor Training Can Lead To A Great Career

The amount of people interested in starting a new career as a driving instructor is growing rapidly. Being your own boss, working the hours you choose, and a secure life long career are just some of the attractions that draw people into the job. More driving instructors are desperately needed now, to cope with the massive increase in learner drivers .

Before you become a driving instructor, you will need to gain the relevant qualifications. The driving instructor training course is designed to enable you to pass the government tests. The learning is based around practical and theory orientated training. To attain full qualifications, you will need to get through a rigorous examination process, which includes:

You begin the training working on mainly theory based tasks, and work your way through all modules until the entire course is completed. Once the first section of training has been completed, you will need to finish the entire course within three years. If you fail to do this, you will have to start from the beginning. three strikes and out. You only have 3 attempts to pass each of the three tests, otherwise you have to wait 2 years and try again. Once you have successfully completed section one and two, you will get the chance to earn some money and teach on a trainee basis to obtain much needed funds, and to gain experience. Once you have passed all 3 tests, you can join the ADI register as an approved driving instructor. You will be given the ADI certificate which can be displayed in your car.

Choosing the right training school is essential, as every advantage is needed when it comes to passing those exams. Avoid choosing a course because its cheap, quality is more important. Treat your choice as an investment, so dont be shy to spend a bit of money.
