? Urban Cafe is one of the best restaurants in Khan Market is as typical as any up market eatery in the area. You may relish the food, soak in the ambience and generally enjoy the time spent but at some point during all this you might end up forgetting the name of the place and why you were here in the first place.

Among the many restaurants in Delhi, Urban Cafe is a just what a modern eatery should be. Its bright, alive and promises to cater to every mood and palate. So, theres Indian, Continental, Middle Eastern, and Oriental thrown in with equal measure. Theres enough booze to last a wedding party and sheesha in a million flavors to smoke your time away. There are some interesting dishes that command instant attention for the simple reason that you might not come across them with ease.

Bhunee Chaat (Rs 295), char grilled exotic veggies and fruits served like the roadside chaat or the Black Pepper Crusted Mignon Beef (Rs 325) served with Orange Juice and the non-veg Sushi platter at Rs 1,095 seem good for a combination of reasons like experimentation or pricing.

The main course has Lebanese, Chinese, Indian, and continental food to pick from priced decently enough for the restaurants location and outlook.

Some might attribute the ease with which Urban Cafe works its calculated charm unto you as the reason to be here but at the end of the day its no different from Cafe Zaffiro or The Kitchen located near by. This is a place that has everything for everyone and so theres little that can go wrong here.

Places such as the Urban Cafe are irritatingly safe with a little bit of every thing thrown in so while you might think that having Lebanese on the menu along side sushi is a step-up to meet the global eatery standards when, in fact, this is exactly that kind of thing that makes it look like an imitation.

The ambiance is reminiscent of a gorgeous 1970s Hollywood film and theres no reason why you wont have a decent time here and yet, there seems to be something missing.
