, but you can actually use them to work out. You can increase your stamina and your overall muscle tone and strength just by doing some exercises with used tractor tires.
When you are ready to get started with your new work out you must first get a hold of some used tractor tires. Some tires company's and garages will often give away these tires for free if you haul them because they are so difficult to get rid of used. Remember that these tires are extremely heavy so only get the tires you will be able to lift and flip easily.
Before beginning your exercises with the used tractor tires, it may be wise to purchase or acquire a lifting belt to help better support the weight and to keep your body safe. Also wearing tennis shoes or boots with a sole that doesn't slip is recommended for the best grip possible.
The first exercise you can use your used tractor tires for is the tire flip. Lay the tire down flat, squat keeping your body aligned and then lift the tire up and flip it onto its other side. Continue to do this until you have reached your finish line or until you are unable to flip it anymore. Never overexert yourself with tire exercises or you could injury your back or legs.
The keg toss could be used in your workout as well just by substituting the keg for the tire. Lift the tire over your head and toss it as far as you can for a great arm work out. To perform the sled drag exercise tie a rope to the tires, grip the rope with both hands and pull it while you are facing the tire, which is actually walking backwards.
