You can use your own bluetooth headphones together with Yahoo Messenger's voice chat feature. You don't have to sit tight in your seat while talking to someone over Yahoo Messenger's voice chat, simply because bluetooth headphones are wireless. Then, you have to install your bluetooth device so that it can be recognized by the computer you are using.

These are the steps you have to take:

Open My Bluetooth Places in your computer.

Then you have to click Add a Bluetooth Device.

You have to make sure first that the hands-free audio device is discoverable. After doing so, proceed to Bluetooth Setup and then, click Next.

Click Next once you see the icon of the hands-free audio device found in "Bluetooth Device Selection."

Enable the Paring mode and then in the Setup dialog, type the Security Code. After typing, click Pair Now.

Select the check box you see for the hands-free audio service found in the Service Section. Then click Next. Lastly, click Finish.

After connecting to the hands-free audio device, you have to start your instant messenger program, in this case Yahoo Messenger.

Then do some adjustments such as the playback, that is the audio output and recording, that is the audio input, found in YM to use a hands-free Bluetooth audio.
