Using Tiffany Lamps for a Decorative Indoor Lighting

Indoor lighting is divided in to three categories

General lighting is the kind of indoor lighting that focus on the overall illumination on the house. It makes the house bright enough to comfortably and conveniently move around the house. A ceiling mounted fixture or downlight recessed lights are the forms of lighting used for this type.

Accent lighting on the other hand is focused in accentuating the interior decorations such as a statuette, artwork in the wall or the wall itself and other specific thing that needs to be emphasized. Recessed lights and track lighting are used to this. Portable lamps are also the possible choice to use when emphasizing the object in the table or washing the wall with lights.

Task lighting is the type of lighting that supplies illumination when doing certain task like reading, cooking, writing or playing or applying makeup if it is in the bathroom. It can be provided by pendant lighting, recessed lights or track lighting fixtures. Portable lamps can also be used to work on the task lighting.

There are other forms of lighting fixtures you can use for your indoor lighting such as the Tiffany lamps, chandeliers or candles. The Tiffany lamps are the kind of lamps that use stained glass as the shade of a table lamps or floor lamps. Tiffany lamps can also be in the form of pendant or even chandeliers. This kind of lamp can add beauty to the room as well as color with the different colors on its shade.

You can place tiffany lamps in your living room or anywhere in the house you wished to create a dramatic effect of lighting.
