Veterinary equipment will be needed for new centre

A new centre for treating animals with medical issues is to be established in England.

The facility, which will be located in Crewe, may well require new veterinary equipment before it is completed.

According to reports in the Crewe Chronicle, animal lovers can already pre-register their pets at the centre.

The building and its contents, which are being constructed on Macon Way, will cost a total of around 1.1 million to complete. Part of this cash may be directed towards stainless steel fabrication for its various surgery areas.

Known for its anti-corrosion and hygienic properties, as well as the fact it is easy to mould and provides long-term value, the metal is popular in veterinary surgeries across the county.

The building, complete with its veterinary equipment, is set to open for business by March next year, meaning the contractors are running to a tight schedule.

The Crewe Veterinary Hospital is part of the Nantwich Veterinary Group, which has roots tracing back to 1877 and describes itself as one of the largest veterinary practices in the country.

In total, 31 vets work for the organisation, in departments including farm animal and equine.

There will be a range of services available once the construction process, including the stainless steel fabrication, has been completed.

For example, the facility will have an in-house laboratory for blood and urine analysis and will also feature specialist dental equipment.

Meanwhile, it will have separate dog and cat wards to help protect the wellbeing of the creatures who visit it and reduce the levels of stress they experience.

Meanwhile, the high-tech specifications of the hospital will mean it can conduct X-rays and ultrasounds on animals where this will be beneficial.

All of the services will be under one roof, meaning pet owners may find the experience more convenient than previous offerings.
