I am not sure if most people realize how much better the curb appeal of their homes could be by adding vinyl siding to it

. Not only does adding vinyl siding make your home look new, it can also increase the value of your house, help with heating and cooling cost and also give you a maintenance free exterior.

If you have recently added vinyl siding to your home to give it a more polished look, then you may want to call and ask for an appraiser to come out and do an appraisal of what your house is worth and it should have added at least the amount you put into the cost of the siding, and possibly a little more. This is good information to have in case you are thinking of refinancing any time soon.

By adding your new siding, you can also decrease your homes heating and cooling costs if the company that installs it, does it properly and adds insulation to the home before installing the siding. Any added layers that can be put on a home, will help to keep the heat in during the winter months and out in the summer months.

I would think that the cons would only be the initial investment, and the fact that a contractor will be doing work on your home for a very short time. The pros of having a house that looks brand new, increased value in your home, lower energy bills and a maintenance free exterior should definitely outweigh the cons.
