The museum is open daily from March to November, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and between November and February the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday. Only dogs that are used as a guide or hearing dogs are allowed to enter the museum with the owner.

King Edward Mine Museum

Another museum that you should visit is the King Edward Mine Museum in Cornwall. Getting to the King Edward Mine Museum is easy if you are staying at one of the Cornwall holiday cottages. The mine museum shows the detailed history of mining in Cornwall. This mine has survived for over 100 years and the museum has the complete documented history of its survival. Most of the equipment that you will see at the mine have been restored and is in working condition even today. The tour guide will take your around and explain different things as you go and also will show you how the mine developed. This was a tin producing mine; most of the equipment that is on display at the mine is the only ones of its kind in the world. This mine was originally part of the South Condurrow Mine. The mine was abandoned in the year 1890; however, in 1897 it was reopened. The King Edward Mine is now a museum and is also used as a resource centre by many educational institutions.
