(such as recycling: glass, food remains, paper and cardboard, plastic bottles etc)

Waste management practices differ for developed and developing nations, for urban and rural areas, and for residential and industrial producers. The extra taxes help to offset the environment damage by going toward environmental restoration, protection and spreading information to increase knowledge on these issues. People and companies need to educate themselves about the environment.
