An innovative Texas electricity company now offers consumers the power to choose green-with a natural source of energy-while also funding research towards the alternative energy frontier.

In states like Texas, the energy industry is deregulated, which allows for competition between energy providers-and more choices for consumers. Here residents and businesses can opt out of traditional forms of energy, and instead, choose to have wind power 100-percent of their electric needs.
