Today effective management of solid waste facility is the number one topic in industrial business. For Leon Engineering managing weight-based vehicle information effectively is critical in a recycling sorting plant (RSP).
Implementing our technological know-how and rich experience we provide a system consisting of a rugged weighbridge, an unattended terminal with surveillance cameras,truck plate recognition camera and other custom features. Our system are installed in Attika Greece.
With this solution the truck driver performs the unloading process in automatic mode, interacting with the system components: the truck driver goes to the entry weighbridge where he identifies himself using the touch panel terminal or his RFID card and gets registered to the system. After checking with positioning sensors that the truck is in the correct position,traffic lights inform him to proceed, onto the weighbridge where he performs the weighing operation. Finally he exits the weighbridge and the system registers the weigh and prints the necessary documentation in the kiosk, which concludes the operation.
The installed solution is consisted of:
* One unattended 18-metre weighbridge with a capacity of 70 tons
* Vehicle number plate recognition system
* Surveillance Camera
* Touch panel terminal or RFID reader for truck drivers
* Access traffic lights and Traffic Barriers
* LEWIS management software
* RFID card reader
* Application software
The Benefits from this application is the ability for self service operations 24/7, computerized weighing management,waste control and automatic determination of the total quantity and real time weighing sequence supervision for increased security.
