4. Drink plenty of water and drink water instead of soft drinks and soda. The human body needs eight glasses of water a day. Water flushes out toxins and waste byproducts, and helps weight loss.
5. Although you will be watching what you eat, you can't be eating a heavy meal in one go. Divide your meal in 5 parts and spread it over the day. Slower you eating, the better your digestive system works. The breaking down of food items becomes a simpler task for the stomach. 6. Exercise everyday, even if it means simply walking for half an hour. Exercise increases the oxygen in the body and keeps you feeling rejuvenated throughout the day. Plus you burn so many calories, thus helping you in losing weight.
7. Eat lean meats. Don't eat red meats at all. This is where I think people struggle to lose weight, when doing everything else but they still eat a lot of meat. Meat is where you get most of the fats from. Only eat lean meats. Skinless chicken and pork chops for starters. Don't eat steaks, hots dogs, hamburgers and prime rib. Eat a lot of fish, if you are a fish eater. Fish is extremely healthy, it contains omega-3 fatty acids in them.
8. Pay attention to what you eat and change your eating habits if necessary. Note it daily in your diary and concentrate on more water-rich healthier meals. Avoid junk food. No more McDonalds, Burger Kind, KFC. Junk food gives you "empty calories".
