They want you to be satisfied with the job their employees perform for you. They want your house to be clean. If they satisfy you then you will be their best advertisement. You will be praising them and their work to all of your friends and neighbors. First person word of mouth is the best and cheapest form of advertising there is.

To help them be the professionals they are you will need to assist them. So the first thing you would need to do is prepare a detailed list by room of what you will need cleaned. You will need to make a separate list of what you consider the light cleaning that they can do on each visit. You will also need to detail what would be considered special projects or heavy cleaning. You would not need the chimney cleaned each visit so that would be a special project. The reason you need to do this is that they need to be able to schedule their time so all you need done is accomplished and all parties are happy.

Once you have completed your lists, you will need to choose a cleaning company. When you have an agency you are happy with then you will need to schedule them for a first visit. Usually the first visit may take longer because they will need to familiarize them selves with your house and where everything is. If they supply the cleaning supplies they will bring them with them. If you have to supply the cleaning supplies, then you should have them out and available for them to use. If they have to look for them it just wastes cleaning time. On the first visit they will probably make their own lists so the next visit will be more productive. So dont expect everything to be completely spic and span on the first visit. There may be things that will need several cleanings to get really clean, especially if you have not cleaned in a while.

The following visits should be more productive. As they become more familiar with you and your home they will leave your home looking cleaner and brighter after each successive visit. At some point they will need little supervision as they will have become familiar with everything. Thats what a house cleaner does.
