At the beginning of their shifts, each staff member can call a toll free number and check in with the operator, who verifies the landline phone number to confirm they are, in fact, where they should be. After every staff member has checked in, the operator contacts their manager and lets them know if there were any issues or if someone has checked in late or not at all.
