What Can We Discover About Ourselves Through Dream Meanings

It is sad to say, but many people consider dreams to be unimportant and that searching for dream meanings is a huge waste of time

. If you cut yourself, don't you tend to the injury before it gets infected or worse? Dreams, as bizarre as they might be, are how the subconscious mind heals us by showing us problems and/or opportunities. They show why we are having problems in our daily lives, and they give us the answers required solve them forever. They can help you put your life back on track and start living it the way you were always meant to.

An example : I had a dream about a pack of, what seemed to be, wild horses galloping into the ocean. As the water got deeper, they all started to swim towards a distant island. There were many large waves and a strong current trying to push them back. Suddenly a huge whale appeared in front of them but the horses, not seeming to be phased by this, continued to swim to the island, passing to whale as they went. What does this mean?

Explanation: Horses are strongly associated with power, freedom and journeys suggesting you're about to start a personal journey to uncover your true freedom, spirit and inner power. The qualities horses poses are vitality, energy, endurance and speed and it is these qualities you will require (if you don't already have them) for this journey.

The waves, the current and the whale were all unable to stop the horses suggesting that, no matter what obstacles are in your way, with determination you will overcome them. Water also symbolizes emotions so there may be a few emotional issues to overcome.

The dream tells us your journey will be an emotional one, but one that can bring you freedom of spirit and inner power.
