Parents who can easily analyze their childrens inclination from an early stage will be able to have an idea about the career option their children can opt for. For example; some children are good in mathematics and score good marks in their examinations and some have inclinations towards arts subjects. However, it is during 10th and 10+2 period that students should be very serious about their careers. Since a career should be chosen according to the subject or subjects that a student opts for, it is important to study the right subject combination after passing the 10th board examination. A student who wishes to become an engineer should opt for PCM (physics, chemistry and mathematics) and if a student wants to become a doctor, he or she has to opt for PCB (physics, chemistry and biology)

Firstly, students during this stage, have the tendency to take career decisions under the influence of their friends and parents. Therefore, they should keep in mind that they have to choose the career meant for them or that suits them. Secondly, students get confused due to the spawning of various career options and they are unable to select the right career choice. If students face such a dilemma, the best solution is to get counseled by an expert career counselor. Lastly, some students have absolutely no idea as to which career option they can choose. This is a very serious case that should be solved at the right time. Here also, the solution is the same.
