Having a full time messenger is a waste of money unless your company is moving hundreds of hard copy documents a day. Having a professional truck delivery service you can rely on will be helpful. Avoid the urge to use cheaper bike messengers. They are spotty at best and often suffer from a lack of punctuality, unprofessional behavior and unreliability.

It takes a lot of tools and resources to do it correctly. You do not want to find you and your staff bogged down in issue of internal shipping, returns, and other thorny issues. It may end up costing you more in time and frustration. Companies that offer such services are better versed in the ins and outs of the shipping world. They have trained staff devoted entirely to order fulfillment. They can afford the tools and systems necessarily for proper order fulfillment at a lower overhead cost than you would inquire doing order fulfillment in-house.
