What Should You Do For A New Distributor
You have been part of a successful multi-level marketing (MLM) business for several months now
. You're even bringing in a little bit of extra money! Thankfully, you've finally recruited a few people to work with you as distributors. What can you do to help a new recruit get started in the world of MLM?
First of all, they need to understand the job they're doing. They are selling a product, while recruiting other people to sell the same product so that one day they can reap commission off of that person's sales as well as their own sales. It's a fairly easy concept, but there are a lot of materials that go along with the job. There's the product itself, and there are brochures and DVDs that go along with that product. There are also brochures to help new distributors get started. Go through all of these materials with your new distributor. Make sure that he or she is comfortable with the materials and with the job description. You'd hate for your new distributor to have to call you in the middle of a sales pitch.
Speaking of a sales pitch, does your new distributor have one? Does he or she have any idea what she's going to say when presenting the product? Review the product thoroughly with your new distributor. Have him or her try out the product, and then study the product until he or she knows it like the back of the hand. It's incredibly important for the new distributor to be able to answer any questions a potential new client might have during a sales pitch.
Letting a new distributor go on a sale with you might also be very helpful. You've been working this job for several months, so you know exactly how the business works. If a new distributor goes with you during a sale, he or she can see how you approach the sale, how you control the conversation, and most importantly, how you close it. There is nothing like learning first hand!
There are so many tips you can give a new distributor before they step into the world of selling. Remind them not to try to sell to everyone because not everyone will want to buy the product. Warn your new distributor about the dangers of making false promises and how that can often come back to haunt a network marketer.
