When trying out different suppliers, avoid those who insist on you placing a minimal order. Suppliers who work with dropshippers know what a dropship business is about and are happy to work on a sale-by-sale basis. Investing in a minimal order is not only unnecessary, but you could also end up with products that could be difficult to sell later on.

Coordination is key to making any dropshipping business a success. This means that you need to keep your wholesale list and client list on hand at all times to know where things are going. Remember that in this transaction, the supplier and the end-client never communicate. You are the sole point of communication, which means that you need to be on the ball in terms of coordinating and communicating with different parties. Do not take it for granted that your supplier will deliver products on time. Take product tracking numbers so that both you and the client can track where the product is in transit. Get an estimated time of delivery from the supplier. Also follow up with the client when the product has been delivered. Was the product delivered safely? Was it damaged? These are all important questions you need to ask.
