About The AuthorDoug Kaufman, Ph.D.
Dr. Doug Kaufman has been actively involved in Psychology and Academia for over 20 years.
He completed his B.A. in Psychology at the University of Maryland at College Park in 1992, and earned his Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000.
In 1998 he won the prestigious Phi Kappa Phi Honors award from the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective honor society for all academic disciplines.
Dr. Kaufman has amassed a wealth of experience teaching and lecturing psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University, and State University of New York, among others.
In addition, Dr. Kaufman has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, such as the Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Psychology Reports, Physiology and Behavior, the Journal of Social Psychology, and more.
His own academic excellence and passion for teaching has made him a consistent favorite among students for many years.
Doug has expanded his love of teaching beyond the walls of the classroom, pioneering new educational technologies that have spread to over 70 countries.
