Some of the new generation phones are equipped with a DC-DC converter core, which reduces the demand for battery power. With this chip, a 1.5 A pulse can usually be reduced by half by stretching the peak current of the battery over a longer period. However, the downside is a loss of current of 10 to 12%. The higher capacity of the battery are also tested, but the strong current eruption occurring when the device is switched on, remains a problem. The size of the cell phone can also be a problem when adding a higher capacity battery.
