What is the best credit card?

If you're a student, look for student cards!! And Rewards are always good too (cash

back & other rewards) but be aware of interest rates, where you're young they'll probably hit you high on those-- but if you plan on paying it off each month then that shouldn't matter.

Try to go with someone like chase or citi. These are well know companies. If you can get an american express that is even better but you will have an anual fee. Also dont worry about what company is the best you should be looking at which one is best for you and works with you the best. Lower rates or cash back

Try student cedit cards.. Credit limit will be low to start off with but pay ur monthly in full for like 3 months and the call and ask for a increase credit limit.. ONce u make one mistake with not paying credit thats it.. credit card companies wil have a hard time trusting you. And DONT DON DONT go over ur spending limit at first. try capital one.. there pretty trusting when it comes to first timers

Get something with no membership fee's or yearly fee's or anything like that. Also, make sure the APR is really low, in case you do max it out and take a few months to pay it off. Since this is your first, I'd get one with a small limit. It just depends what company you want and who you want to go with. Some department stores have really good APR rates, others suck. Just becareful, credit cards really can get away from you.

If you plan to repay the debt each month in full, then the interest rate is irrelevant. Therefore you should choose a card that has the most other benefits, such as a reward or cash back program. Citi offers a card that pays back up to $300 each year. If you are a member of Costco, you can get a no fee American Express card that pays back cash on all purchases. It's probably the best card, but the Costco membership is $50 a year. However, you can save more than that given their prices.

If you are planning to pay the bill every month, you can pretty much have any credit card. You can go through some cards athttp://www.apneapne.com and decide on your own. I would suggest a citi card. That's the first one I got when i turned 18. Just remember to not screw up your credit because it is extremely important.
