Whats up guys, its a beautiful morning here in Costa Rica. How are you doing today? My name is Bill, I'm down here in Jaco Beach and it's absolutely incredible. I've worked with surf camps and surf organizations, teaching in schools and surfing around the world over the past 15 years and I've landed myself in Costa Rica and this is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen- to learn how to surf or to score some perfect waves. The potential here is like nowhere else around the whole world. Now, people always ask the same questions over and over about surf trips, surf tours, surf lessons in Costa Rica- so before you guys come down here, Im going to answer some frequently asked questions we get on a daily basis.

One of the major questions we get is What is the best time to come to Costa Rica for a surf trip? And the answer is, honestly, whenever you're free whenever to get out of work or you don't have anything else to do- the waves are pumping in Costa Rica pretty much year round. If you want little rain we'd recommend between November and mid April (the dry season) After that we go back into the green season and it does rain a lot, but doesn't really affect the waves that much. Regardless, if you want some nice calm, mellow, clear blue water November to mid April is perfect. There's always waves in Costa Rica-I grew up in Southern California these waves blow there out of the water: its glassy, 3 to 5 foot, and un-crowded every day. I just surfed this morning- it was seven foot tubing beach break in Playa Hermosa and only two guys out. So whenever you guys have a time, that's the time you come to Costa Rica.
