Why Bloggers Need To Blog Hop For A Ton Of Free Traffic

Most bloggers have a problem with 2 things, interaction and traffic.

There is one simple, fast solution that will fix both problems.

It's blog hopping.

Blog hopping simple means to visit another related niche blog and leave a comment, not just any comment, the comment must be of value.

Once you leave a comment on your blog is serves 3 purposes, let me discuss them.

1. Backlinks

If you target blogs that are do-follow, then your comment effectively gives you a link back to your site. If the blog has keyword love installed, you get an added benefit of anchor text attached to your link too which helps with search engine optimization.

2. Relationship building

By leaving a comment on a person's blog you then open the door to building a relationship with them, which can lead to the possibility of you guest posting on their blog in the future or perhaps a joint venture partnership which is mutually beneficial for you both.

You will also begin to build relationships with the other readers of the blog too.

Once they see your valuable comment, they will no doubt hop over and visit your blog too, where you can further interact and build relationships with them.

3. The final reason blog hopping is beneficial is exposure of your own blog content. There is a highly popular WordPress plugin named Comluv, this will allow you to display a link back to your last blog post. But not only can you link back to your last blog post, you are given access to a drop down menu containing your last ten blog posts. This means you can select which blog post is most relevant to the blog post you are commenting on and increase the chance of the author or reader visiting your post.

Blog hopping is highly effective in generating traffic, backlinks and building relationships, if you are a blogger, spend the time to visit at least 10 blogs a day to fully benefit.
