But before you rush out and excitedly hand over your credit card, looking forward to a brand-new fitted bedroom, it's important to think long and hard about what you really want from your bedroom.

The point is that when you choose a replacement car, you will probably reassess your needs, think carefully about your experience with your previous car, think about how your needs have changed, or may change in the future, all of which may result in a different type of car being suitable. This reassessment of your needs, circumstances, situation and potential needs in the future all adds up to a range of factors which are taken into account when you choose a car.

But when it comes to choosing a bedroom, many people tend to make the assumption that they have to replace what they have already with something which is very much the same. There really isn't any reason for this, and whilst you can head off to look at the bedrooms Cheshire showrooms have to offer, the chances are that unless you break yourself away from the assumption that you need to replace your existing bedroom with one which is virtually the same, you'll only end up looking at those bedrooms in the show room which are a close match for what you already have.

Yes, the replacement bedrooms you can see there will probably be a lot newer, smarter, and may incorporate a range of additional features. But the changes which you can make in your bedroom can be far greater than just having an extra couple of drawers, a wardrobe in a slightly different shade of wood, and an extra mirror.

One of the first things which you can think about is storage, because an almost certain guarantee is that since you last fitted out your bedroom, or purchased existing wardrobes and storage units, you will probably have purchased additional clothes. Crushing and cramming these into drawers and wardrobes which are bursting at the seams not only looks scruffy, but can seriously damage your clothes.

Rethinking your storage needs is just one step along the path to re-evaluate what a new bedroom should really mean for you. Certainly when it comes to bedrooms Cheshire has a great many answers to offer, but it's important not to go looking for answers before you're really sure of what the question is. Take a long, cold, hard look at your bedroom, and think about everything which is wrong, everything which could be better, and dare to break free from the red Ford Mondeo you've been sleeping in for a the last few years.
