Fortunately installing a solar panel system has now become a very affordable alternative that can also be an excellent return on your initial investment. An average size system will pay for itself via your electricity savings in 5-7 years, and the system will give at least 20 years of electricity production. If you are able to install a large enough system you can eliminate your bill completely, but even a small 1KW one can, and will, reduce your electrical bill dramatically, plus as a bonus you will a have guilt free feeling every time you turn on the heater or air-conditioner!

If you have the roof space to install a larger PV Grid System then it comes with income producing capacity as well thanks to the Feed in Tariffs; which in simple terms means that if you have produced excessive amount of electricity from your solar PV's then you can then sell those watts to your Electricity Grid Power provider at a higher price than what you are paying for it,
