Why I Should Have Used a WOW Leveling Guide

I began playing this game 2 years ago and I only wished I knew of an effective WOW Leveling Guidethen. Like all players who just started playing the game, I created my very first character or a "toon" in WOW terminology in a specific server and customized the appearance, gender and class according to my preferences. After asking some advice from my pro friends and doing a little in depth research, I chose Blood Elf as my race and hunter as my character class and jumped into my assigned realm.

For those not familiar with WOW, this is a massive multiplayer online role playing game where each player gets to control one character and select a faction to join. In WOW lore, these groups are Horde and Alliance where each division has its own group of member races with unique traits. There is no strongest race per se but each one has its core strengths distinctive to them and not found in others.

At the time I started playing, the maximum level then was 80. I started off at level 1 and I needed to complete quests for my character to gain the needed points to increase in level. Now in WOW, there was a saying that goes "Life begins at 80" since it was only at this point where a player becomes eligible to participate in huge group missions called raids and compete in special player versus player tournaments. Furthermore, everyone was salivating at the items that can be retrieved once this stage of the game is reached. In effect, everyone either using a WOW leveling guide or not, was gunning to be at the optimum level at the soonest possible time.

Unfortunately for me, I did not have a WOW leveling guide then to assist me in my quests. I had to do a process called "grinding" where I look for quests manually without any discernable pattern or efficient planning. Thus, it took me over a month to accomplish reaching level 80 with my first "toon". Now, this is not half bad. In fact, I knew some players who have been playing WOW for months and were stuck at the 60's. Leveling up is a cumbersome process and hours of your time has to be allocated everyday to have discernable progress. In fact, I spent my entire weekends sitting in front of my computer and trying my best to accomplish my goal. If I had a WOW leveling guide then, my 1 month trudge to level 80 could have been done in 5 or 7 days.
