. You can Google "Tesla generator" for information. Can you imagine taking 20 million homes off the national grid?

Why hasn't it taken off? Well killing off a 50 billion pound generating industry may have something to do with it. But if the UK is serious about cutting carbon emissions, surely this is the way to go. Some people also say the Tesla inventions wasn't a perpetual motion machine, because supposedly it tapped an external power source (the energy of the universe, whatever that means), but it wasn't real either. Nobody has a working model.

-Radio (yes Marconi is credited but post posthumously he was awarded the patent. Marconi used no less than seven of Telsa's patents)

-Fluorescent lights

MR connectors (Edison refused to let Tesla use the screw in bulbs for the Chicago World Faire so Tesla simply invented a new method)

Some that did not Wireless transmitted Energy (Tesla coil)

Death Ray Perpetual Motion (Tesla Generator)

Most of Teslas work and inventions were a result of dreaming and mathematics. The fact that these did not work does not discount the idea. We need a dreamer in today's world to invent or reinvent what others say will not work.

One of the reasons why the UK is not Manufacturing Tesla Generators is Because a magnetic field ONLY produces an induced electric current when the flux through the loop (or whatever you're running the current through) changes. This requires a constantly moving magnetic source, which requires energy, which leads to friction or some other transfer of energy to without the system, which means that the energy induced by the magnetic flux can never indefinitely run the magnet's motion.
