This is a huge waste of time on your behalf if your looking for quality inbound links to your website. Sure it's a backlink and may generate a little traffic to your website, but the value of that backlink in SEO terms will be almost non-existent. Why? The text in those articles is exactly the same and is considered duplicate content by major search engines. It will appear unnatural and is a big time waster if you have done it in the past or thinking about doing it in the future. You need to find quality backlinks with relevant page text and good content.

It is also important that your internal pages have backlinks as well. Internal pages usually hold most of the information on your website and therefore would normally receive the most backlinks. Take the time to do some link building for the internal pages of your website during your seo campaigns.
