The reason why is because most of these townhouse often have high security, resort facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, parks and playground equipment. However, these types of condominiums are very expensive, even more expensive than houses, which is usually to accommodate the wealthy.

One reason why apartments became one of the most popular type of residential Philippines property was because of its affordability. Compared to buying a house, townhouse, or even a condominium, people could easily find residence in apartments. However, the only disadvantage of apartments is that it can only provide temporary residence, basically because apartments are usually rented or leased to tenants. This, however, can work as an advantage for most cases.

Students who lives in provinces can rent a studio type apartment, which is usually the smallest type of apartment and the cheapest, and leave once classes have ended. For a more permanent type of apartment, there are those that offer a one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartment which can be rented by families.

One of the popular residential Philippines property available in the market today are condominiums. One reason for its popularity is its affordability. Unlike townhouses and houses, Filipinos could easily invest on condominiums which can cost half or more than half the usual cost of these types of housing. Although apartments tend to be more affordable, condominiums can offer a more permanent residence with little capital compared to townhouses and houses.

Another advantage of condominiums is its location. Most condominiums today are found near or inside major business districts and commercial areas. This allows it to be within walking or mass transit distance of business and industrial areas of the city.
