Bathroom lighting is often neglected by many homeowners

. Being in this area for a limited amount of time each day, a lot of homeowners don't feel the need to invest in quality set of lights into this room. However, proper lighting is very important in the bathroom area and here are a few reasons why.

First reason boils down to safety. Most likely your bathroom is lined with tiled or marbled floors. When the floor gets wet, it can be slippery. It is important, henceforth, that you have a bright set of lights installed in this room. This way you can spot right on the areas that are soaking wet especially at night and in the early morning hours when everybody is rushing to get ready for work and school. You don't want to slip and land hard on the floors. Accidents can be prevented if you can illuminate the place properly.

Another reason is for ease of movement. Bathroom lighting isn't just about general lighting. You need to perform delicate tasks each day such as shaving or applying make-up in your face. A bright punch of light is needed to carry on these activities. With poor lighting, you can haphazardly cut yourself or end up going out with uneven make-up application. Save yourself the embarrassment by putting up matching walls sconces on both sides of the mirror to give your face the right amount of light it needs.

Lastly, it's all about decoration. When people come into your home for a visit or whenever you throw parties at home, chances are they will be seeking to use your bathroom. With beautiful bathroom lighting, you will never worry about what people will find inside your private area. Rather, you will receive praises for the beautiful chandelier or the charming pendant light you have installed in there.
