The JS Rodeo Company, which was formed in 2004 by John ES Smith and J Patrick Johnson, produces a wide variety of rodeo events that start early in the year and run through the summer.

If you are a rodeo fan at all, then you may recognize the JS Rodeo Company name. They raise award-winning livestock that has made appearances in many of the rodeos throughout the country, including the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas and the Dodge National Circuit Finals in Pocatello, Idaho. Other notable appearances include the Ariat Championship Series that takes place in Caldwell, Oklahoma, and Dallas, Texas; the Home of Champions Rodeo in Red Lodge; the Helldorado Days in Las Vegas; and the Cody Stampede. Their bucking broncos and bulls have won several awards, with one winning Bull of the Year in 2008.

In addition to some of the best rodeo livestock available, the JS Rodeo Company also has an amazing crew of Rodeo Managers, Chute Bosses, and Bull Fighters. This team has won some of the most prestigious rodeo awards that are out there, and they are well known in the rodeo circuit. It is their job to put together world-class rodeo events, so you can expect on the very best when you attend and JS Rodeo Company competitions or exhibitions.

In January of 2011, Great Falls and the JS Rodeo Company will host the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Association Finals. This is your opportunity to see some of the very best rodeo competitors in the state of Montana, and since Montana is the heart of rodeo country, you can be sure that you are seeing the best in the world. In keeping with tradition, Miss Rodeo Montana will be selected at the beginning of the competition, so that she can serve throughout the duration of the event. After the rodeo events each evening, there are other exciting happenings. You might be able to catch a concert with a well-known country music star, or enjoy a night of fun and games. Don't miss out on the awards ceremony either.
